The Girl Who Shook the King — Part 6
Continuing from Part 5. The queen has spoken. The court has turned. Now the girl is about to tell them where the truth has been hiding all along.
The Truth Is Hidden Under the Palace... 😳
The palace was no longer a place of power.
It had become a place of collapse.
Whispers filled every corner of the royal court. Nobles no longer spoke with certainty. Guards no longer stood with confidence. Even the king's voice had started to lose its weight.
And at the center of it all... the girl remained calm.
She took a single step forward.
And the entire hall went silent again.
For a moment, it felt like everyone was waiting for her to say something that would finally end it all.
But instead, she looked at the king.
Not with anger.
Not with emotion.
With certainty.
"You still haven't told them the truth," she said.
The king's face tightened immediately.
"Stop..." he whispered.
But she didn't stop.
Because the truth was no longer something he could control.
She slowly turned her gaze across the hall, letting every noble, every guard, every witness feel the weight of what was coming.
"The truth isn't in the palace," she said calmly.
Confused whispers spread instantly through the court.
The queen slowly lifted her head, as if something in her memory had just been pulled loose.
The king's breathing changed.
Faster. Heavier.
The girl continued, her voice steady.
"It's under it."
Silence.
A deeper silence than before.
Not confusion anymore.
Realization.
The kind that spreads without explanation.
The king shook his head slightly.
"No..."
But it was too late.
The court had already heard enough.
Already understood enough.
And for the first time, the king wasn't looking like someone being obeyed...
but someone being judged.
Because if the truth really was beneath the palace...
then everything built above it was a lie.
And the girl...
was the only one who seemed completely sure where it all led.
