Continuing from Part 3. Marcus led his squad to the industrial facility deep inside the frozen city. The missing elite teams are still inside. And the truth about this mission is about to surface.

The Exit Hidden Inside the Frozen City

The massive industrial structure hidden beneath the frozen city felt completely lifeless.

Cold air drifted through broken metal corridors while dim emergency lights flickered across rusted walls and frozen machinery. Snow blew inside through cracks in the damaged ceiling, covering the abandoned facility in ice and silence.

Marcus Vale moved carefully through the darkness with the remaining squad behind him.

Nobody spoke anymore.

After everything they had seen inside the ruined city, the soldiers were no longer treating this like a military training simulation.

It felt far too real.

Then they finally found them.

Behind massive steel barriers deep inside the structure stood the missing elite squads — exhausted, confused, and trapped inside sealed sections of the facility.

Some of them looked relieved.

Others looked terrified.

One of the squad leaders stepped forward immediately.

"We couldn't find the exit. Every corridor led us back here."

The soldiers behind Marcus exchanged nervous looks.

The city had trapped them.

Then suddenly, the radio static that had haunted the mission for hours cleared for the first time.

A calm commander's voice echoed through the communication channel.

"You were never supposed to find them."

Silence filled the facility instantly.

Several soldiers looked around in confusion while others demanded answers through the radio.

Marcus didn't react.

Instead, he slowly studied the structure around him.

The walls. The airflow. The tiny vibrations hidden beneath the sound of the storm outside.

Something about the facility didn't match the rest of the city.

Then Marcus noticed it.

A subtle mechanical vibration hidden behind one section of the industrial wall.

He stepped toward it slowly while the others watched.

"What are you doing?" one soldier asked nervously.

Marcus placed his hand against the frozen metal surface.

A low mechanical sound suddenly echoed through the structure.

Then another.

Massive locking systems hidden inside the walls began disengaging one by one.

The entire squad froze.

Slowly, enormous steel doors started opening at the far end of the facility.

Blinding white daylight poured inside.

Fresh freezing air rushed through the corridors.

The trapped soldiers stared in disbelief.

The exit had been hidden inside the structure the entire time.

Marcus looked toward the opening calmly while the commander's voice returned through the radio one final time.

"...Mission complete."

No celebration followed.

Only silence.

Because everyone inside that frozen city understood something now:

Marcus Vale had seen what nobody else could.

Without advanced systems. Without perfect vision. Without fear.

He simply understood the city better than anyone inside it.

Marcus quietly walked toward the open exit while the other soldiers watched him with a level of respect none of them had shown at the beginning of the mission.

Outside, snow continued falling across the ruined city as the operation finally came to an end.
