Continuing from Part 1. The girl revealed the pendant. The king went pale. And then... something happened that no one in that room could explain.
The story
In a single moment that no one could explain, the air in the palace seemed to distort.
The girl was no longer standing at the entrance. She was suddenly in the center of the palace hall.
No movement was seen. No sound was made. No one could explain how it happened.
The entire court reacted at once — confusion, fear, disbelief spreading through the room like fire.
Whispers broke the silence.
"How did she get there...?"
"She didn't move..."
"That's impossible..."
All eyes turned toward her again.
The king rose slowly from his throne, his face pale, his authority cracking under something he could not understand. His voice finally broke through the tension.
"Where is she...?"
The girl stood still in the center of the hall, calm, as if nothing unusual had happened at all.
The king's eyes stayed locked on her, trying to regain control of the situation. Then he stepped forward, his voice lower but sharper now, filled with something closer to fear than anger.
"What are you to her?"
The entire hall went silent again. No one breathed. No one moved. Every single person waited for her answer.
She tilted her head slightly. And then she spoke.
"I think... you already know."
The words hung in the air like a curse. And for the first time since she entered the palace... no one dared to question what was standing in front of them.
The story continues
Part 3 — the conclusion — drops next. The king has been pushed into a corner he can't escape. What happens when the most powerful man in the palace finally breaks?
